Placements and Displacements

My work examines humankind’s relentless displacement of the natural world, mapping the tensions between land, industry, and ownership. Through sculpture and mixed media, I incorporate imagery drawn from maps and topography, using these visual languages to explore the ways we fragment, reshape, and redefine landscapes. By layering natural materials with industrial elements, my work reflects the push and pull between organic systems and human intervention. These pieces serve as artifacts of our impact—both physical and conceptual—on the spaces we inhabit, questioning the consequences of our persistent reshaping of the earth.
