Grades 3–12 | 6-Week Course
Discover the satisfaction of making something with your own hands. This six-week Introduction to Woodshop course invites homeschool students to explore the timeless craft of woodworking in a safe, creative, and encouraging environment.
Through a series of engaging, hands-on projects, students will learn foundational woodworking skills including measuring, marking, sawing, shaping, sanding, drilling, assembly, and finishing techniques. Along the way, they will gain confidence using age-appropriate hand tools while developing patience, problem-solving abilities, spatial reasoning, and fine motor skills.
Each student will complete several artistic and functional woodworking projects that reflect both guided instruction and their own creativity. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, safe tool use, thoughtful design, and the joy of creating with natural materials.
No prior woodworking experience is required. All materials and tools are provided, and students take home every project they create.
This course is designed for homeschool learners in grades 3–12, with instruction adapted to each student's age, experience, and skill level.
